Big 5 Global is the largest construction fair in the Middle East, where architects, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, and distributors from around the world gather to network and share the latest technologies. With a large construction event that attracts more than 2,000 businesses and approximately 70,000 visitors from more than 150 countries, Big 5 Global is an influential event that acts as a hub for the global construction industry beyond the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. 3i Inc. operated the booth at the Big 5 Global in Dubai for four days and introduced the 360-degree photo-based digital twin solution ‘Beamo’ to many booth visitors. Its easy capture, fast post-processing speed and affordable deployment compared to other competitors have attracted attention and interest from many visitors. With a 360 camera, a smartphone, and a tripod, Beamo is an enterprise-grade digital twin solution that can capture the site quickly and easily to create 360 views, and can be deployed to the construction site at a reasonable cost compared to expensive equipment such as LiDAR and 3D scanners. In particular, thanks to its fast post-processing speed, you can immediately check the results in a few hours if you capture the construction site in the morning. It allows you to monitor the progress of the construction site on a daily basis and make decisions based on the same spatial information as various related departments. This improvement in workflow has the advantage of shortening the construction period and reducing construction costs as a result.
