Korea FM EXPO 2025 Recap

Beamo Shaping the Future of Facility Management

Introduction: Why Facility Management is Changing Now

The construction and facility management industry in Korea is at a pivotal moment.
Increasing complexity on-site, workforce shortages, and tightening regulations are driving a new era that demands both efficiency and transparency.

Against this backdrop, the Facilities Management Expo 2025 (KFMX 2025), held from July 30 to August 2, 2025, at COEX in Seoul, offered a glimpse into the future of the industry.

This year marked Beamo’s debut at the event — and it made a powerful impression.

Interest was particularly high among large enterprises in the construction and engineering sectors, who saw Beamo as a direct answer to challenges like eliminating inefficiencies and enabling remote decision-making.

Visitors shared comments such as:

  • “It’s groundbreaking to get an accurate site view without visiting in person.”

  • “The speed from capture to sharing is far beyond existing tools.”

During live demos, the booth occasionally drew small queues of curious attendees.

3. Market Needs and Beamo’s Strengths

Conversations during the expo revealed common needs across multiple industries:

  • Automated location mapping for on-site visibility

  • 3D view + embedded video for training foreign workers

  • Depth measurement for warehouses and factories

  • Fast capture for operational efficiency

  • Archiving/download features for long-term record keeping

  • Education use cases for remote training

These align perfectly with Beamo’s core strengths: speed, accuracy, and security.

4. A Tailwind in the Korean Market — “Full Process Video Recording” Mandate

Korea is rapidly implementing mandatory full-process video recording and remote monitoring:

  • Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: Moving toward requiring video recording of all construction processes and black box devices on tower cranes

  • Seoul Metropolitan Government: Already introduced continuous monitoring for public works

  • Other municipalities: Busan, Jeju, LH, and others are following suit

This trend is driving a surge in demand for high-precision digital recording solutions. Beamo is designed to meet these needs, complying with PIPA regulations and long-term storage requirements.

5. Competitive Landscape and Beamo’s Position

While international and domestic competitors are moving into the Korean FM market, Beamo stands out with superior capture speed, faster build times, and advanced access control.
Proven enterprise deployments and strong security capabilities further reinforce its position.
