XR & METAVERSE FAIR TOKYO 2025 Exhibition Report

K-Spatial AI: 3D Capture of Sites in Just Minutes

Proposing a New Workflow: Shoot in the Morning, Share in the Afternoon

From October 8 to 10, 2025, 3i exhibited at XR FAIR TOKYO 2025 (Autumn Edition) held at Makuhari Messe as part of the Korean Pavilion "K-Digital Contents Zone," showcasing "Beamo," a Spatial AI platform that 3D-scans spaces in just minutes.

The theme was "Spatial AI: 3D-ize Your Site in Minutes — Shoot in the Morning, Share in the Afternoon."

We proposed a new way of working: visualizing sites and sharing them in real time across entire teams. Beamo creates time for faster 3D visualization of sites, quicker team collaboration, and smarter decision-making.

What is XR FAIR TOKYO 2025?

This exhibition is Japan's largest specialized fair dedicated to XR technologies (an umbrella term for VR, AR, and MR) and the Metaverse. It serves as a venue where engineers and technical professionals from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, and real estate, come to experience, evaluate, and consider implementing cutting-edge solutions like "Digital Twin" and "Virtual Platforms."

1. What We Communicated at the Booth: The "See Quickly, Share Instantly" Beamo Experience

The booth centered on showcasing Beamo's core 3D visual dashboard. Many visitors stopped to watch the demo where footage captured by a 360° camera was converted into a high-definition 3D view in just minutes, experiencing firsthand how sites can be "quickly, easily, and collaboratively shared."

Our staff provided explanations such as:

  • "No special equipment or expertise is required."
Simply capture the site using a smartphone or commercially available 360° camera. AI automatically analyzes the space and generates a 3D view in the cloud.

  • "You can share a site captured in the morning with your team by the afternoon."
Site data uploads instantly, enabling real-time confirmation and instructions with remote locations or overseas teams.

  • "Add comments, tags, and attach documents directly within the 3D space."
Centrally manage site photos, drawings, and work manuals, directly sharing equipment, issues, and points of caution within the 3D space.

Beamo connects the site, data, and team into one "3D Visual Dashboard (Visible Knowledge Platform)."

2. Visitor reactions: "Faster than expected," "This seems implementable."

At the exhibition, booth visitors included professionals from diverse industries such as construction, manufacturing, plant operations, and facility management.

The most common reactions were as follows:

  • "I didn't think 3D conversion could be this fast."
Many were surprised by the actual generation speed and image quality

  • "The operation is simple enough for field staff to use."
The intuitive UI was highly praised, with comments like, "It's a big advantage that field staff can capture and share images themselves."

  • "Can it integrate with existing systems?"
Many questions focused on API integration with existing systems, highlighting interest in Beamo's scalability and security design.

Additionally, many attendees inquired about security and access control. When we introduced our enterprise-grade security design (SSO, VPC, on-premises support), IT managers from Japanese companies responded, "This makes us feel confident to try it."

 3. Seminar Presentation: "Speed Meets Spatial AI"

The Value of "Speed" Where Japanese and Korean Field Cultures Meet

During the event, I presented at the special seminar "Speed Meets Spatial AI," held as part of the Japan-Korea Trade 60th Anniversary Commemorative Session.

In this presentation, I introduced Korea's "빨리빨리 (Palli Palli)" culture as "not merely rushing, but an action philosophy to seize the future first." While highlighting its difference from the "accuracy" and "reliability" cherished in Japanese industrial settings, I proposed approaches to enhance productivity by leveraging both countries' strengths.

"빨리빨리 (Palli Palli) isn't about rushing; it's the power to act with foresight. Japan's 'meticulousness' is the power to reliably bring that vision to life. Beamo connects both through technology."

Following the presentation, many attendees commented that the perspective blending cultural background and technology was impressive, leading to actual implementation consultations and requests for materials.

4. Beamo's Evolution: "Understanding" Spatial Infrastructure Realized Through Speed and Intelligence

This exhibition showcased not only the high speed of "morning capture, afternoon sharing" but also a roadmap shaping future site management through deep spatial analysis powered by AI and flexible scalability.

The pillars of our currently under-development technologies are as follows, with phased releases planned for next year.

  • AI-Powered Spatial Intelligence (VPS Integration):
AI integrated with VPS (Visual Positioning System) automatically recognizes on-site equipment and structures, visualizing them as meaningful data linked to location information. This builds a foundation for deep analysis and smarter decision-making, going beyond mere 3D views.

  • Future-Ready Flexible Platform Design (LLM Integration):
We aim to build a flexible, expandable platform designed to integrate with external AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs). This will enable smart utilization of field data through natural language search and interpretation in the future.

Beyond rapid visualization, Beamo pursues AI-driven understanding and utilization, evolving from a "viewing tool" into a spatial infrastructure that "understands."

5. The Future of Beamo ― From "Seeing" to "Understanding"

Through our exhibition at XR FAIR TOKYO 2025, we gained confidence in the value beyond "recreating sites in 3D"—a new direction toward "spaces that understand."

Moving forward, Beamo will continue leveraging AI technology to pursue mechanisms that visualize the "present" of sites faster, more accurately, and more safely.

Speed isn't just for efficiency—it's for trust.

Beamo achieves this trusted speed through technology.
